Again Numbed!

Again Numbed!   Behold me! The Sun sets deep in the sea, The creeping darkness keen to engulf me, Roaring under that night’s deadliest cover, Ah left to watch the riled waves pass over!   Those stars art veiled and shine no more, As I tumble at each step and every door, Groping about I’ve sauntered verily afar, Shattered! Here a shock and there a jar!   My soul and heart both have given way, In the wilderness I were beguiled away! O sinking deeper with each upward leap, In woeful labyrinth I wert plunged deep!   I’ve lost my direction and sense no more, The affliction becomes my weeping sore, With a nasty blemish, with a reeking taint, I run berserk while the others would faint!   So faltering forward alone in the wilderness, Across wet mead thawed in wan witlessness, There’s someone alou...

The Trip Yonder

The Trip Yonder A whit I’m; both in mind and reason's sea, Yes, aspiring to nihility admist fanatic glee, Apprehensions foiled and reasons flouted, Tethered to whirlwinds, I'd never doubted. My life was a dream within another dream, A love lost! Shall I retrieve it now as gleam? Akin to a reverie my hopes shall fade away, Love smiled and I stared at reasons astray! I dived into tempest on a tormented shore; In the dead of night, the fright I will adore? There wert yells and creeps as I sank deep, How? I were alert and awake when asleep. I’d grasped at a straw with a mighty clasp, My dear Lord! O my salvation? I wilt gasp, Lo in a twinkling, carried and thereto gone Lo what? I eyed the Sun set at every dawn! I'm disabled, and a tramp; yonder who cries, Truth was unchained, an abyss and my sighs Who'll unveil the mystery in an iota of dust? Why from heavens had swung a brutal gust? Over the twilight yon, I beheld worlds roll, Hurt deep and ebbing away from the goal, I k...

And What More!

And What More!   Whither they? Who have dismayed me! Inch by inch they  hadst  often bitten me, In mine flowery youth or this hoary age, They had oft’ nibbled me with fiery rage.   And they had applied their suckers deep, H olding fast in my veins  they  would keep, To the last drop of blood they must feast, Stark brutality aye  they shamed the beast.   They had whipped me hard day and night, Until I had escape d and were out of sight, Over the edifice; and  I were seen no more! I was banis hed and they banged their door!   They wouldn’t weep one  tiny tear for me, Jubilant  and un-reined they were set free, They swayed blissful and with  the  airs high, Aye t heir senses beclouded and faces awry!   I lingered m y moments and my life was past, A tortured one ; and I was the relished repast; Each syllable  sliced  m...

Chase Me Not

Chase Me Not   I write something mute and invisible, From my heart; my beliefs invincible, In subtle robes discover me as I attire, My soul and muse both, I’ve set afire.   A mistaking! If I ever call it my verse, Thru lute and lire a secret I rehearse Of my aching heart; ah its deep pain! Aye my shrieks wouldn’t end in vain!   Nobody grasps me, if yes; ‘twas a guess, I’m shrouded, how and why make mess? A humane soul with no honors and fame, I was the gossamer, ah cruelly set aflame.   Alone in wilderness, nobody wanders by, Blind; I discerned vision in my inner eye! My humility; my bliss and my adventure, Ailing in my solitude I’d made a venture!   I traveled beyond jubilance and the mirage, Amid awesome silence and dark I’d raged! On the creepy edge, I wert readily brought, Mysteries of lunacy a...

Life - The Mystery

Life - The Mystery          A soul were inspirited, behold the lump of loam, Many a task, afflictions borne; ah back to home, The odyssey in tangled maze; how come it may! Hurried, exploring and tearing the cloaks of clay.   An exquisite closet, with the emotions steeped, Animated to life, amongst the creation peaked, Enticed into this world of strata and fragrance, Wits battled with love and folly with brilliance!   Neath the azure dome; shaky and reeling it came, The robes and façades worn with fame and blame, Hurled into tiresome journey thru entangled maze, Arguing apathy and ambition, generosity and craze. Blest with five senses, the sixth refuted any name, Swathed in veils of love, it annuls an...

My Prying Looks

My Prying Looks   Do your own ways! I’ve my own heart’s glow, Roaming, wobbling and aimless you shall go, The raving beauty lures you but skips my eye, Yet I discern the Beauteous in my morn’ sigh.   Bright and enticing, with every pulse grown, Glazing my heart and piercing too, till shorn, Wits turn victim, love is victor. Who bleeds? Ah the bloomed roses in my heart’s weeds.     My heart-throbs silenced on an alien aisle? In the silvery solitude I brooded over awhile, Ere it vanished, dumbfounded I were scared, Silent clues flashed, and my heart was bared.   Struck aghast and senseless I cried “Cease” Allow me I brace my heart and throbs ease, Were it an allure or spirit to charm my face! Stealthy and quiet; ‘twere enthralling grace!   Mornings and evenings all, I’ve trod t...
