My Prying Looks
My Prying Looks
Do your own ways! I’ve my own heart’s glow,
Roaming, wobbling and aimless you shall go,
The raving beauty lures you but skips my eye,
Yet I discern the Beauteous in my morn’ sigh.
Bright and enticing, with every pulse grown,
Glazing my heart and piercing too, till shorn,
Wits turn victim, love is victor. Who bleeds?
Ah the bloomed roses in my heart’s weeds.
My heart-throbs silenced
on an alien aisle?
In the silvery solitude I brooded over awhile,
Ere it vanished, dumbfounded I were scared,
Silent clues flashed, and my heart was bared.
Struck aghast and senseless I cried “Cease”
Allow me I brace my heart and throbs ease,
Were it an allure or spirit to charm my face!
Stealthy and quiet; ‘twere enthralling grace!
Mornings and evenings all, I’ve trod the town,
To catch a glimpse of Beauty ah up and down,
Breathing, fuming and exhausted, never seen,
Yet furtively creeps into the tryst, ever unseen.
Therein the breezy wafts softy glide over my face,
With an unfamiliar glittering tinge, my heart lace,
An invocation or light seeping deep; ah by and by,
And abruptly vanished, I dared ask how and why?
Loved and mesmerizing; it didst glaze my breast,
The bond secured and reborn; my zeal and zest!
The onward journey, sprightly and ways mended,
An invisible finger scribed , welcome befriended!
My muse resting in
parables or in the skies high,
In the desperate
night I remained fearful and sly,
Sinking ’neath the loads, to behold the silvery ray,
Quixotic fancy stole over me and I didn’t afar stay!
Silent dialogue ensued, looks engaged and wistful,
The soliloquy, calmness wins over fluency brimful,
A short work was made of me, to the Lover’s care,
“Come hither” The voiceless voice boomed but fair.
Oh what’s love? When secrets speak in sweet tone;
While murmurs bandy ‘twixt the hearts that groan!
When The Beauty in Entirety, shall dazzle my eyes,
Calmly. Peacefully and unspoken of, I’ll accost skies,
