                 ASK ME NO MORE   Where from I come, and  whereto I go, Quell ing passions , the ir  ebb and flow, In the  turbulence; myself I often lose, Ask me not ,  what in my breast brews?   But sweet symphony, that I  hear not, With my dreamy eyes ;  and tears a lot, But fearing, a tongue if they were lent , Will assail my heart ,  to a grievous rent!   I know no trace ,  why tides wax and vane , Riled  waves  like passions, unveil my pain, I ’d  watched eternity ,  hung in ethereal air, From  void to fullness ,  thru  domes bizarre!   Therein my heart longs ,  to be dissolved, From ominous yoke ,  I shalt be absolved, Of all that dreads me ,  thru day and night, Unfettered ,  to the beacon of lucent light .       I were distraught ,  as secrets revealed, Amidst exposure ,  I were so concealed, In ...

                  My invocation   Modest and artless, is my  life’s way! M y eyes  downcast , y et yon and away, Fixed o n the zenith , where they  shine, Amidst t wink l ing stars ;  arrayed in line.   Concealed ‘neath my tattered  guise, Rumbles  a humble  soul , that belies Glamour and glitter, pomp and airs, ‘Twix t heaven and hell, a path bares   That  of rectitude,  grueling  but  fine, Thinner than film ,  and   times nine, ​ A n abyss , fathomless  on each side, So  horrendous ,  aye   this  tricky  ride!   Never the less, it calls  for sacrifice, Nigh impossible!  To p ay the price; Then pay it ever,  all thru one’s life, Ver il y strain ing , this  blessed strife!   Wherein gold or pelf , would n’t help, The mightiest hither;   will  there  yelp, With smothered faces ,  ...
