ASK ME NO MORE

              ASK ME NO MORE

Where from I come, and whereto I go,

Quelling passions, their ebb and flow,

In the turbulence; myself I often lose,

Ask me not, what in my breast brews?

But sweet symphony, that I hear not,

With my dreamy eyes; and tears a lot,

But fearing, a tongue if they were lent,

Will assail my heart, to a grievous rent!

I know no trace, why tides wax and vane,

Riled waves like passions, unveil my pain,

I’d watched eternity, hung in ethereal air,

From void to fullness, thru domes bizarre!

Therein my heart longs, to be dissolved,

From ominous yoke, I shalt be absolved,

Of all that dreads me, thru day and night,

Unfettered, to the beacon of lucent light.

I were distraught, as secrets revealed,

Amidst exposure, I were so concealed,

In the inebriety, my sapience emerged,

Over the invisible beams; I had surged!

Aye do come, and see, I'm not beguiled,

In the obscurity, ah I'm otherwise styled,

In darkness, my vision leaps and bounds,

Where the eternity dips, yon it expounds.

Slyly, I embarked on the realms of Love;

With a pounding heart, to an alley above,

I beheld His glance, sweet like moonlight,

Ushering my journey, to one alien height!

Climbing up the staves, I stepped aside,

An outlandish, with whom I was beside?

Intoxicated with Scent! Where's Rose?

I wert prostrate; with mounting woes!

Propriety of manners, glued to my woe,

A tall order; yet the darkness was aglow,

I'd lingered, ah in fears and pains 'tween,

Ask me no more; who I'm and had been?
