O Candor

                       O Candor

Sweet candor, verily thou are the sweet,

In a silent tryst, my heart and soul meet,

Jargons of candor, had softly lit my face,

The décor of flair, with entrancing grace.

Thou shall endure, the light of my eye,

Excel the stars’ glitter, there in the sky,

To sparkle mutely, thy candor and truth

The soul of tears, born of love and ruth!

Thou are the beauty, to strip off the mask,

The gentle breeze revealing verity, thy task!

Undo the fads of skeptics, gently and softly,

Many a bloom grace thy lips, uttering truly.

Thou picture splendid, in the sincere talk,

Surpass in thy surge, beyond that of hawk,

Inspiriting truth, an oasis in forsaken mind,

Thou rejuvenate the fallen, to life resigned.

Thou uncover the verity, draped times nine,

Smiles flash on faces, that will rather whine,

Thru warped hearts, like a caravan stride on,

From the shady corridors, you kiss the dawn.

Thou art pristine, and the subtle link,

Smack of love, wherein variances sink,

The décor of wordsprofound elegance,

Truth and civility, insignia of eloquence!

The virtues of candor, voice sprightly high,

And reveal in the faces, where passions die,

As eyes would beam, along with malar flush,

The ashen faces, are inspirited to rosy blush.

O candor1 Thou art a flambeau in the dark,

Spearing ever high, with thy leaping spark!

Tugged by invisible force; above or under,

The fantoccini to sway hearts, thy plunder!

Thou art symphony, knit in mellow sound,

And so oft’ vocalized, ever chanted around!

You are the primed love, a sensitive chime,

Moving the mighty hearts, to beat sublime!

Alack! But a high price, thou had sadly paid,

At the nefarious altar, thou wert cruelly laid!

Slaughtered pitilessly, to appease the greed!

Thou hath fallen a victim, to the rowdy creed!
