           Life’s Melodrama           From  the  dust y  loam  man is born, A spark incurred and away blown, H ow come  over the course it may, The flame bustles in a lamp of clay.   With the gilded passions steeped, Lively and so vibrant ere it  leaped, Into earthy colours  and fragrance, Gifted w ith  motive and brilliance!   Dust back to earth, then life came, With the décor of its  sundry name, Well, journey thru its   thorny  maze, Hassled with ambitions and craze!   Intuitive mind, blest with senses five , A few causeways ah thru slime drive, Angels smiled, from the D estiny afar, The stranded soul, left to gazing star!   The joy s were flitting and h urts buried, Flamboyant ,  the life  had neve r   replied, The fools’ stage,  their laughs and cries, Melodrama of life, played ‘neath skies       Mystery knit in secrets...

A living Dream

                  A living D ream   My life!  Were it a mystery or dream? Or just a shadow it as it would  seem, At  snail’s pace I crawled in bright  sun, And  vanish ed  in  the  dark; what a fun!   A burning candle; flaring  flame s  high, Soaring high  and with the angels vie, Infinite cosmos, I were a paltry  soul, E nds  were endless ; where’s my goal?   A spark  I was  that wore a mortal veil, F ire   that were;  set against cruel  gale, A flicker and the n the  spurts of light, A battle betwixt,  ‘twas  a pitched fight.   L ittle voice  had  warble d high but  soft, O  my  meditation !   It  had  soar ed  aloft, A volcano exploded ,  in  my  tiny frame, E ngulfing  me whole ,  in a  raging  flame.   My m editation or  one...

                          A Rec k oning   Since long my  inquisitive eyes pry about, At the gruesome scenarios I often  shout, Watching a  glaring contrast, a rising fire! B rewing carnage , the flame to blast dire.   The usurpers ask for more and ever more. From  h apless folks, adding insult to a sore, The hunger-stricken, pale faces, no smiles, T he opulent  decree, thei r  wiles and guiles.   The looters have  plunder ed  and marvel ed , In the  cozy beds , have dallied  and revel ed , Sadly  given to drink,  their  dance and dope, Amid st  vanities , they’ll  blunder and grope!   Under th e yoke of tyranny people linger on, Upheavals  born of aversion will smolder on W hen  the   glitter  blind s  the inside  of a  man, An inferno  is  born , the  vengeance  must...

My Grief’ Vent

               My Grief’ Vent      O f hope ,  shall  I witness a faint gleam? Bonds  melt,  who unpicked the seam? Where  the scenario, in décor framed? In colour  and  the dazzle, I had flamed.   T he delicate petals  die , whiffing sweet, The crystal pearls of dew were a cheat, The dazzling Sun, draped up in twilight, My hopes swapped with a ghastly sight.   My ambitious muse  hath spiraled high, And in its verity  to  the impossible nigh, B ruised and  cruelly hurt; ah eyes teary O load of wishes, I’m ruined and weary.   Had  I journeyed errant;  and  all the while, I  wert  subdued,  humbled and very  docile, A victim , I had  fallen to the ir trickery  vile, I f I hadn ’t  toed their line, filial and servile.   In the labyrinth of my life ;  ah  deserted wild, Idealistic scenario crumbles,...

            A  Bolt from the Blue     The grave lightning  had st  struck  me, Divested  me ,  of  every  bliss and glee, And crushed  me  down, angst-ridden S enseless and hapless ,  cruelly bitten.   My dear mother passed on, ah my lot, A panic-stricken me, with fear fraught , I stirred up to the slash, inflicted deep , A  stab  anew; an  abyss  with tears seep .     For my life, I shall mourn her departure,  Her  priceless memories; I’ll ever  nurture, The wound may work  to measures deep, T herein her loved face;  I  will  ever keep !     She was beyond   portrayal , words fail me, Rear kids, like fruits on the lustrous tree, Soft-spoken yet astute, smile on her face , Eagle-eyed ,  keen  mind,  to   flare   her grace!   H er smiles  mesmerizing , excel moonlight!
