Life’s Melodrama
Life’s Melodrama
From the dusty loam man is born,
A spark incurred and away blown,
How come over the course it may,
The flame bustles in a lamp of clay.
With the gilded passions steeped,
Lively and so vibrant ere it leaped,
Into earthy colours and fragrance,
Gifted with motive and brilliance!
Dust back to earth, then life came,
With the décor of its sundry name,
Well, journey thru its thorny maze,
Hassled with ambitions and craze!
Intuitive mind, blest with senses five,
A few causeways ah thru slime drive,
Angels smiled, from the Destiny afar,
The stranded soul, left to gazing star!
The joys were flitting and hurts buried,
Flamboyant, the life had never replied,
The fools’ stage, their laughs and cries,
Melodrama of life, played ‘neath skies
Mystery knit in secrets, how to unravel?
On crossroads of liability, how to travel?
Panic-stricken, ah breathless to the core,
Some may eye the Beauty, just to adore!
Were life the riddle, or a pulsating sore?
Shrieks and hilarity, daub the awful lore,
Seized with death pale, ‘twill wane away,
A stage wrapped up, with loads to weigh.
The colour and charms, must fade away;
Ah life unravels; events lined to an array,
Scary beats, teary eyes, and the decree?
A vast, seamless stage, no one can flee.
