The Rimless Realm

The Rimless Realm Within a Beauty countless beauties are aglow, Where the Bounteous lives? How will I adore? Walking with veiled footfalls, looks darting yon, Scents and colours abound, on a flower I fawn. Oozing aroma. whiffs in coolness of morn’ light, Zephyr imbued bafflingly in the soft lunar night, My soul filled with bliss amidst Nature’s bloom, Ecstatic I run exploring, for there’s ample room. Enchanted and passionate, just for a little while, Drawn irresistibly by Nature’s bewitching smile, Into the majestic splendour of unsullied delight, Weary of life’s urgings, seized by unseen Might. I were lured into and carried away and far away, Labyrinth went unfolding, complexities in array, Those playing fountains and the singing streams, The intricacies weaved with the unseen beams! The secrets laid bare, I’d wondered at, all along, Lights dancing on waves’ top breathed the song, In the ve...

My Estranged Granddaughter

My Estranged Granddaughter Light up; brighten up, O my dear child, For a petty lapse, sorry I did thee chide, With dewy eyes ye stooped before me, Let smiles play with all charms and glee. Frisk about, be frolicsome and dance, Let tiny steps so rhythmically advance,  Open to me your thrilling world anew, Of chuckles, giggles and innocent adieu! Let that alluring dimple of thy cheeks, Play the thrill evermore that bespeaks, The filial love that I’ve longed for days, Flash in your eyes with the same blaze. Breathe thy sweet prattle unto my ears, The fount of love, pouring love for years I shalt brace to my heart in my solitude, In feeble years ’twill stand my fortitude. A memoir; “I appear and you run away” “The hide and seek” thy luxurious play, Lives to mesmerize and veers my muse, Allured with the days of yore I’ll amuse. Come; I shall hold you in my arms so close, Wipe off your teary eyes, my damask rose! Love has its bumps too, but silently so so...

Aching for Love

Aching for Love My heart aching for the ethereal wine, Alone in the tavern I moan and whine, The cup swings around, as angels knock At tavern’s door, eyeing secrecies unlock. Inebriate, ah I set my eye at the ruby light, Red with blended rave, set my soul alight, Love beamed and beckoned me to the cup, I gulped to the dregs in an expounding sup. I tasted the drop of wine and suffered pain, On the altar of Love I was laid and yet again Bleeding more and ever, eternal I convulsed, In the blazing scenario mine soul rehearsed. Bless me with pain, ecstasy Thy Love brings Countless praises when the lone lark sings, My heart wrings as to her virtue were given, Yet for the love of Thee, I were madly driven Darkness envelops, the flash of union comes In the pit of darkness aye my intellect numbs, Ere than sooner The Beloved whispers close; The fragrance creeps in, and I behold a Rose. The Ethereal Beauty smiled with stately gai...

Uniquely Blessed

Uniquely Blessed   I beheld a lucid soul sadly afar and alone, Ah his visage spoke turmoil he had borne, ‘Twixt deceits and cheats he kept his kind Serene Motto! Folks won’t read his mind.   Striving amidst squalor he exudes scent, Mind pure and pristine with blissful bent At the core and every iota, seemed well In midst of swelling crowd, won’t dwell.   With mellowness of heart he’d plod on, Grieving at grievances and aptly drawn. For the folks he showed a glittering way A thunderous roar smeared him astray.   Mystified but undaunted, well engaged, Many a felonious hearts he’d assuaged, Tears lined up, the bloom had vanished, Shrieks and yells, soon he was punished.   Barrens and stones bestrewed his course, Bruised and tired, lo sweet sans remorse; Charming and appealing he looked about, Heaven had bloomed in the angelic sprout.   Bewildered but calm, gently he’d spoken, Blest with heavenly charm he’d betoken, Yet staunch rivals in their numbers huge, Swo...

A Silent Echo

A Silent Echo I walk between the graves, for they speak not, I’m a runaway, ’cause I’ve been spoken to a lot, Tired of my ears, for I had heard often so much, Tirades and slants I had met with the rosy touch.   I can recall those phrases, in my breast asleep, I shan’t lend them a tongue, for they are deep, For a bruise when slighted will oft’ turn a gash, Cruelly whipped and I shan’t bear another lash.   My life remained a reserve of myths but untold, Faces with masks, those pains I wouldn’t unfold, With a torn and bleeding heart I kept my smiles, With myriad of their subtleties I faced only guiles.   Countless are my tears, sighs and the grief beside, Met with disdain ah the ebb and flow of their tide! A savage world full of beasts with a hundred eyes, I couldn’t count wiles wrapped in hundred smiles....

The Noble Soul

The Noble Soul The heart in bosom if truthful and chaste, Calmly ascends to the Heavens, ‘tis paced. Whispers allure, shrouding fears of gloom, Charting the course where glistens bloom.   Upright, if one steps on path of rectitude, Blotting out insidious evils with fortitude Truth his foremost aim, lips say no guile, He looks eye to eye and fails not to smile.   A tender heart thrills his bosom with love, Steers his course to the Milky Way above, One trait in him I shall profoundly admire, When he rises unsoiled from earthy mire.   Free from vicious passions his heart throbs, With sweet manners, many a heart he robs. On the rough he works; humble and plane Tethered to life’s tide, he’s calm and sane.   Allurements are galore with a satanic hold, He battles with nasty mesh, his soul unsold, Lo! How tenacious the life that he didst lead, Nurtu...
