Who else but…
Who else but……
A flash had surged, in thy lambent eyes,
And tears gleamed, like stars in the skies,
Smiles had played, and eyes had glowed
Flush riffled on thy face, as tears flowed.
A blithesome wave, thy heart throbbed,
‘Neath the yoke of onus, you’d sobbed;
Nights awake, and hard days thy chore,
Dreams weighing on, thy passion galore.
If ‘twas a tornado, hit me a fierce blow,
You’ll be a lambent light, of warm glow!
Thy scented breaths, over my pale face!
A divine panacea, blest with godly grace!
In the deadliest of dark, you’re warm sun,
Its radiant shine, and every wise the one,
Brings light and life, over my stricken face,
Balmy, soft and smooth, with tender grace.
Everything, the warble’s song or silent voice,
Falls a hapless captive to fate, and no choice,
The ties of love fall off, but the hurts are left,
In tumbling fabric of life, amid warp and weft.
The nature may smile me off, O hapless me,
I’m left rudderless, over the tormented sea,
But for the light blest, there’s mystery long
Sparking my love, a silent melody and song,
Hurries in the heaven, may enchant and sing,
Blissful zephyr in heaven, may thy praise ring,
My loveliest ever! No pain and no hurt, live on
In divine gardens of love, aye no dusk or dawn.
I recall the kiss, you pressed on my stale brow,
The wave of thy passions, thrills my heart now,
Thy soft voice rings, whispering a way another,
Who else but it can be? O my dearest mother!
