Have Time

                 Have Time

Lounging beneath a mulberry tree,

On a lovely day, and my fancy free,

Watching on a twig, a birdie sweet,

In blossom thereour glances meet.

And disunited from this world vile,

Carefree and reclining upon a stile,

The crimson Sun, thereto glanced,

On a foamy ocean, colours danced.

Stealing over mountains, ‘twill fade,

Shades crept long, and never stayed,

The silvery moon yon, full in the sky,

The galaxies swirl, charmed my eye.

I heard warbles, enchanting very high,

Astir with vocals, and the birds in sky,

I beheld the allure of nature, and bare,

A melody decoyed, ah deciphered fair!

I watched a nest, there a bird to verge,

It swept around; with a motherly urge,

On the little chick, aye its gaping beak,

A tiny grain there, it didst fondly seek!

My muffled mind, therein the souls rife,

The mortal, how bequeathanother life,

The ranks are inscribed, the paths to go,

Nature’s binding, the sequence to flow!

Fragrant breeze, whiffed sweetly along,

Rustling thru the foliage, a coded song,

When twigs with sap full; will sink low,

Orchards will bloom, with radiant glow.

A rose caught my eye, blooming ruby red,

Rinsed in dew, ah the pearly drops it shed,

Fretful swarming bees, aye buzzed astray

On the nectar, and fashioned a queer play.

A waterfall, a stream and the ripples’ dance,

The twilight there or a spell; I fell into trance,

Flora! The violet and purple, red and white!

Painted the scenario, what a beguiling sight!

Come my friends, and hurriedly come thou all,

Watch them keenly, the fount playing and fall,

Never lose the moments of ecstasy, have time,

No use lingering days, attend to Time’s chime!
