A bliss vanquished
A bliss vanquished
Aye playing frolicsome, by a roaring sea,
Ambled about, faces lit with radiant glee,
The crimson Sun, blazed the foamy wave,
By an ocean pictured, the beauty to rave.
When they stood up, loud the waters sang,
Ah a blast of deliverance, and aloud it rang,
Nine and five steps there, a beauty walked
Was it a fairy gliding, the folks often talked?
Aye the enduring wave, to glide by her side,
In the moonlit night, there the waxing tide!
Her steps nimble, breaths a trailing stream.
In her scented pastel, she’s beauty extreme.
Her sleek hair flowing; as if never to cease!
Playing about her shoulders, in soft breeze,
A captive he were, ah the majestic fairy here,
His heart throb there, in her glare and flare!
Moonlight’s gentle glow, and an angelic face,
Her blond tresses waved, in an undulant flow,
Her smiles; rippling hair, her glamor and sheen,
Lo her flushed face, her eyes alluring and keen.
Adrift her shoulders, her fragrant perms,
Through his aching heart; the flux worms,
A broad flush on her face, arrest his gaze,
One blithesome, and with radiance ablaze.
Her star like eyes; and the captivating twinkle,
The dazzle in her eyes; was the subtle sparkle,
To light the mystery; she wouldst never speak,
On his abashed heart; she would havoc wreak.
He looked into her hazel eyes, of a tinge blue,
Pearly drops well up; the strings of crystal hue,
How beautiful, a passionate flow of love’s tide!
And fighting shy! She “Would be” soon a bride!
The kiss curls and the smiles, the playful ripple,
All his fancies beguiled, into her cheek’s dimple,
With her quivering lips, O quaveringly she spoke,
Innocently her heart out; ah into tears she broke.
Her rimed puffs, a few words did gently escape,
Mellifluent eloquence, when her lips shall gape,
Excel rose petals, the décor of her guiltless face,
The beauty had marveled; aye his heart to brace.
The soft crescendo, vibes of her melodious voice,
Pouring out the sweetest song, go with his choice,
Of her love and amity! And in a love-winning spell,
The working of love, and into a swoon till she fell.
A curvy doll, bob this way then duck that way,
To silence she lent a tongue, holding the sway
Adroit at playing daft, in her venture so close,
Blushed all; she wouldst twist to shame a rose.
Mesmerized and done; his hand would reach,
For a wedding ring, he did earnestly beseech,
Then a rosy plan he weaved, in his heart dear,
Its zonked aroma, to envelop impending fear!
Aye her piercing glance, wouldst on a ferry rest,
Which hadst danced, on the wild wave’s breast,
Overjoyed and thru waters; she wouldst wade,
He trod her steps as faithfully as he were bade.
Suddenly a cloud hovered; lightning and thunder,
Thru his frame crept, swiftly the fearful shudder,
And in split of a moment; ah she wert wept away,
A ghastly wave there, the misfortune ghastly play
A lass she was; the mesmerizing, pretty and fair,
Tantalized his meek heart, with her airs and flair,
The jewel of a lass; the ‘lone figure she’d smiled
Of his life she was the main stay, a beauty styled.
The scion of a noble tree, sheltered in her breast
A rose she was in prime blossom, ah laid to rest,
She were soft light, the darting beam of his eye,
A unique amber light, had scaled beyond the sky.
The lofty dreams nurtured, which he raised,
His castles in air, aye to the dust were razed,
The propitious winds, alack pounded against,
Faltering in wilderness, he’d tumble and faint
