Painfully, to a delinquent

           Painfully, to a delinquent

O Juvenile! A day shalt dawn on thee,

Think vividly, and ruminate when free,

Thy replica reflecting, you would own,

Heart and soul, why so ghastly grown?

Stripped of grace, eyes to betray shame,

Taunts zero in, share slander and blame,

Shake off slumber, what went so wrong?

Once you marveled, a star in the throng!

piercing flash to rouse, thy lousy mind,

In its glare discover vision; for eyes blind,

In the dark of darkest night, prying alone;

Unravel life’s skein, ah to blood and bone.

Of thy dalliance, the gambols and the guilt,

Someone mastered thee, haloed in the gilt,

And thou gave in, so compliant and servile,

Gulp bait of wrapped guiles, just in a while.

In the seclusion, aye weigh thine tragic fall,

The loved honey of deceit, hath turned gall,

The shimmer and aroma, hadst faded away,

And swarthier ever, eclipsed was thine day!

Shalt thou recall a day, of thy flitting past?

And for a moment, to thine past glory lost,

When someone had led thee; by his finger,

Alas! Those moments, doth no more linger!

the pathetic victim! But ’twert thus done,

In the broad daylight, leisure decoyed a fun,

When wanton clouds, had hovered on thee,

And thru the diabolical veil, thou failed see!

Thou wilt rue the past, abandoned to sighs,

The infernal days; spent ‘neath azure skies,

Brushed away my say, my words and strife,

You writ thy lot alone; on the desert of life.

Thine eyes shalt grow wild, and luster lose,

Afflictions will mount; the heart will bruise,

The charms were lost, and gruesome thy life,

People shall shun thee, the rumours are rife!

Thou will beseech around; where’s the help?

Imploring, seeking and haplessly, you’ll yelp,

Thy head hung down, ah disgust and shame!

An insignia of misery, might coin other name!
