An odyssey

                           An odyssey 

O winds take my soft breaths to the destiny afar,

Mingled with the floral aroma, a door stands ajar

Stealthily enter to make way thru the dense haze,

Let me avow, a dreamy scenario, murky yet ablaze.

 

A bright day, a dark night, a vision and there’s none,

Thoughts flow, reasons falter, schools of events run,

The mysterious silence whispers its breaths so close,

Waving but unheard betwixt petals of a damask rose!

 

An alien space wherein I stand on a tormented shore,

In ever spreading horizons I had never visited before,

The grains of flaxen sand and so swiftly they’d creep

Steeped in my glitzy tears, my intense shame I weep.

 

My life is gruesomely chequered with bliss and woes,

Ironically bliss pains and woes charm, as my life flows,

Dazzling bright or macabre paths I’d all thru followed,

Whims so close at my heels but a flicker I’d borrowed.

 

O Lord! Pledge me the ethereal cup, my final desire!

Tormented and seethed; I toss around in Love’s fire,

With a tight grasp save me from the merciless wave,

Dampen the violent undulations and my paths pave!

My Dear Parents

Where shall I see your generous faces? Of unique love where wi ll I find traces? Here’s a void expanding every moment, N one  look up to, and I’m left to lament.   Your sweet voices often ring in my ears, To  solitude I’m confined for many years, The mellowness of yore hast turned gall, My tale of   infirmity runs gloomy and tall.   Parental fort has crumbled, in ruins I walk, Silence is my mate, ah there’s none to talk, In the wilds of my heart stripped of bloom, I fret  and fume, so no bl iss shall  find room.   A ttire s, articles  and  clothes are but lifeless, Arrayed but sans a  wearer , a h my distress!
