Where To
Where To
O imagination! Rise from slumber and fly,
Above the mountains towering very high,
Far away and beyond to the azure dome,
Like a nomad in alien land, run and roam.
With the lightning pace of an angel’s surge,
Far away on the weird frontiers aptly verge,
The enigma pouring in, one after the other,
In the infinite span, fling the muse further!
An arrow from the anonymity might pierce,
Bruising my wit and cause with force fierce,
A death here and the convulsion was there,
A door opened, muse surging but to where?
For my loving heart ‘twas a fantastic release!
On the odyssey long that was never to cease,
Expanse was infinite and the time ah timeless,
Eagerly, who were to fawn and verily guileless!
The muse exploring deep yet discovers no clue
To its identity, but thriving so elusive and true!
Fading silently into blurred lines and ever more,
A pounding heart rapped at the Beloved’s door!
One trap more, another plunge and ever again,
The new impetus ah beholden of another gain,
Its beginning and the end, ‘twert all the same!
Sojourn or the odyssey, they all rein the game!
Holden in thrall, the galaxies would fast sweep,
Domains were broken; the hearts would weep,
Along the new aura where edges would blend,
The horizons and reef would join on the bend!
Who would look into? When heavens are bare,
On the starry night; alluring, beautiful and fair,
Incandescence and revival to a splendid rebirth,
For a soul that hadst ascended from the earth!
Oh Lord! Thou created the seen and unseen all,
The universes, galaxies, heavens, big and small,
Then cyphered silently in the veils of invisibility,
Ah entrusting the inquisitive eye with a liability.
When the day and night shall merge into one,
And when time and space shall weld into one,
And roll up the planes with a boundless edge,
Bless me! I shall reiterate my solemn pledge!
